Ascentist Finance is a private financial awareness system designed to help users understand income, expenses, balance, accounts, and net worth in a clear and structured way.

We respect your privacy and aim to handle information responsibly, transparently, and with care.

2. Information we collect

Ascentist does not receive the financial information you enter into the app. Your records are held on your device and may use your private iCloud account for sync and restoration when iCloud is available.

• Financial information such as income, expenses, account names, balances, and allocation data is stored on-device and in your private iCloud/CloudKit storage when that service is available.
• Contact information you provide when contacting support, such as your email address.
• Technical information you may choose to share in support emails, such as your device model, iOS version, app version, and screenshots.
• Purchase information related to subscriptions or premium access handled through Apple.
• Website usage information is processed by Google Analytics only after you accept optional analytics.
• Cloudflare processes technical request information needed to deliver, protect, and operate this website.

3. How we use information

Ascentist Finance processes information on your device and through your iCloud account to provide the app's features.

• Display and organise the financial information you choose to enter manually.
• Respond to support requests, feedback, and bug reports.
• Manage subscriptions and premium feature access.
• Measure website use and improve website content when you have consented to optional analytics.

4. Data storage

Financial records are held on your device. When iCloud is available, the app uses Apple's CloudKit infrastructure associated with your private iCloud account for sync and restoration.

Ascentist does not operate its own financial-data account system or require bank credentials. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's terms and privacy practices.

5. App analytics and crash reporting

The Ascentist iOS app does not include third-party analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDKs.

This statement applies to the app. Optional website analytics are explained separately below.

6. Website hosting, analytics, and cookies

This website is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes request information such as IP address, browser headers, requested URL, and security signals as needed to deliver and protect the site.

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics load only after you actively accept optional website analytics. If you reject optional analytics, these Google tags are not loaded.

We use essential browser storage to remember your consent choice. You can change that choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Analytics data is retained according to the settings configured for the Google Analytics property.

7. Subscriptions and payments

If Ascentist Finance offers premium features through in-app purchase, payments and subscription transactions are handled by Apple.

We do not receive your full payment card details.

We may receive limited information from Apple, such as subscription status or transaction confirmation, to provide premium access.

8. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information only when necessary to:

• Process subscriptions and purchases through Apple.
• Provide optional website analytics through Google after your consent.
• Deliver and protect the website through Cloudflare.
• Comply with legal obligations.
• Protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the service.

9. Data retention

Information held by the app remains on your device and, when enabled, in your iCloud account until you delete it or manage it through the relevant Apple services.

Support emails and related correspondence may be retained for administrative and support purposes.

Website analytics and Cloudflare technical records follow the retention settings and operational policies configured for those services.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

• Request access to personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Contact us with privacy-related questions.
• Withdraw website analytics consent through the Cookie settings control.

Ascentist Finance is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
